Injectable fillers are products that are specifically designed to restore lost volume in the face. The newer generation of fillers include a chemical known as hyaluronic acid. And it's used to inject areas where enhancement is needed, whether it be in the lips or to restore some of the lost volume of the cheeks or eliminate the cheek folds. The way that the modern soft tissue fillers work is by injecting them at specific layers of the skin. Some products are best used deeper in the skin or the subcutaneous tissue, some products are specifically designed for the skin surface itself.
